Monica and Joey became great friends many years ago.  A dental hygienist by profession who enjoys gardening and decorating for the holidays.  Her love for Joey inspired her to turn her passion for decorating into a way to help kids enjoy a much better life.  All the funds raised from the trees Monica designs for the Festival of Trees benefit the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation which provides support for groundbreaking pediatric research.

Monica began designing trees for the Festival of Trees in  2009

In 2017 Monica designed 4 beautiful trees and Joey's Corner was established.
